The biggest factors are the size of the vehicle, the length of the rental, and the time of year. Larger buses cost more than smaller ones; full-day and multi-day bookings cost more than a simple round trip. Peak season runs from April through October, when weddings, proms, and college events fill the calendar—if you book during this window, expect higher rates and limited availability. Off-peak discounts may be available in winter. Additional charges apply for trips that run late, require extra cleanup, or involve significant deadhead (mileage without passengers). Your quote covers the base rental fee, driver’s time, mileage, and standard amenities. It does not include tolls (such as E-470 or Northwest Parkway), parking passes (required at venues like Ball Arena, Empower Field, Red Rocks, Folsom Field, Coors Field, or Mission Ballroom), gratuity for the driver (typically 10–20%), or overtime charges if the trip runs longer than scheduled. For example, parking at Red Rocks is $10–$20 per bus, and downtown Denver lots may charge $50–$100. These fees will be added to your final invoice or can be paid directly on the day of the event. It’s best to book your party bus at least three to six months before your event—especially if it falls during peak wedding season (May–October), prom season (April–May), or around major events like CU Boulder move-in week, CSU graduation, or popular Red Rocks concert dates. Spring and summer weekends fill up fast, and the largest or most affordable vehicles are always the first to sell out.
